Plans for starting Sunday School are underway, with a tentative start date in May. Plans are also underway to start a youth group. More information later in the bulletin.

HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE

    The council will meet on Sunday, April 17th.

    Thanks to all the soup makers who have made soup, and to those who will make soup, for the Lenten services. This has been an enjoyable time of fellowship and worship.

CLEAN-UP DAY

    We will have a general clean-up day at the church on Saturday, April 16 , beginning at 9 A.M. The windows need washing, the Sunday School rooms need to be cleaned out, and other general cleaning. Bring your cleaning supplies and come on!

    Please keep Wiley Dutton in your prayers as he will have major surgery on April 8th, in Johnson City.

LCMC CONSTITUTION

    A constitution committee has been formed to write a constitution for our church with LCMC. The committee mernbers are: Karl Kinkel, Dickie Pack, Pastor Dew, Cathy Pattison, Wanda King, and Verna Henley. They will be meeting soon to get this underway.

HYMNALS

    We will alternate using the cranberry hynmal and the green hymnal each month. We will use the green hymnal for the month starting Easter Sunday.

CHOIR

    The choir could still use members if you care to join. See Laura Martin, Mary Kinkel, or Jennifer Reasor. Come make a joyful noise! 

    The dates for the After School SOL Program at Speedwell Elementary are:

April 7, April 12, April 14, April 19, April 26,
 April 28, May 3, May 10, May 12.

    We need volunteers to help prepare and serve the food at the school. Please let Verna or Beverly know if you would be interested in helping. We need to be at the school by 3 p.m. and are usually through by 3:45.

    Beverly Wynn will be taking orders for Easter lilies soon. Watch the bulletin for details on prices.
